Project
The Collaborative designed Perkins Schools’ new Athletic Complex, which includes football stadium, concessions and restroom building, entry plaza, athletics building, baseball stadium, softball field, practice fields, tennis courts, and victory bell tower. The new stadium seats 4,500 (3,000 home, 1,500 visitors) and provides synthetic turf for football, soccer and lacrosse. A new eight lane all-weather running track includes field events within the “D’s”. All sports benefit from stadium lighting, allowing extended competition times. The building under the home bleachers provides amenities such as concessions, ADA restrooms, varsity football locker room, training room, coaches offices, meeting room, visitor’s locker room, band storage and athletic storage. The new entry gateway, donor plaza and ticket booths make a clear statement about Perkins’ Pride: This is OUR house!
