Project
With the introduction of a new intercollegiate football team, Siena Heights University teamed with The Collaborative to develop a new performance stadium. After developing an Athletics Master Plan, Siena and The Collaborative began implementing the phased improvements.
The University invested $10 million in athletic fields and supporting amenities. The first phase includes a new $3.5 million, artificial-turf Performance Stadium complex to accommodate football, soccer, track and lacrosse. The stadium includes seating for 1,500, a concessions building, restrooms and storage.
Other projects include a new baseball field; site improvements, including a new entrance from Oakwood Street, and new parking lot; and a new Athletic Complex to complement the Performance Stadium. Constructed under the bleachers of the stadium, the $3 million Athletic Complex house locker rooms for football, soccer, track and lacrosse, as well as team meeting rooms, athletic training rooms and a weight room.
