Project
After the design and construction of the two district elementary schools, Washington Local retained The Collaborative for the $65.7 million, New Whitmer Middle School. The new 3 story, 200,000sf building will serve 1,600 6th through 8th grade students. The scope also includes the building to have a full gymnasium, auxilary gymnasium, a multitude of STEM rooms including a robotics and woodshop classrooms. On the exterior of the building there will be a multipurpose field with an athletic track. Construction is to be completed in the fall of 2026.
