Project
In efforts to remain a destination district in Northeast Ohio as well as respond to the continuous community growth, Perrysburg Schools embarked on a 5 year plan to upgrade all of their facilities.
The Collaborative, along with TMP Architecture, led the design and construction of a new 5th and 6th grade facility to house 900 students in 130,000 SF.
The building re-invents the way the District currently teaches; accounting for a more open and diverse learning environment. The flexible teaching spaces and innovative social areas allow for more creative interactions among students and teachers. The new building includes 32 classrooms, 4 special education classroom, and two technology labs. Additionally, an exploratory cluster completes the heart of the building with band rehearsal studios, orchestra rehearsal spaces, visual arts, and stage production areas open to the dining zone.
