Project
At Glenwood Elementary, the design retains and renovates 15,300sf the existing school constructed in 1981. 75,000sf of new construction provides a new main entry, media center, art, music and special education spaces and 21 general use classrooms. Significant site changes re-orient the campus away from a busy state route.
The new addition includes 28 classrooms, two art rooms, two music rooms connected to the stage and gymnasium; administration area and clinic, learning resource center, student dining and special education areas. The renovated space features two preschool classrooms and six kindergarten classrooms. The two story layout separates PK-2 on the first floor and grades 3-5 on the second floor.
