Intensive Care Unit Relocation

This project creates optimal cross-coverage and shared support spaces between the hospital’s Med-Surg Nurse Station and Intensive Care Nurse Station. By co-locating these functions, nursing staff can share supplies as well as human resources in order to best care for patients.

In addition to the renovated Nurse Stations, the project includes (3) ICU Room with prefabricated DIRTT headwalls and wide glass doors for maximum visibility. A new Family Lounge with ADA Restroom provides a place of respite for patient’s loved ones. The finish palette pulls in colors and materials from the adjacent spaces to create a cohesive brand image for the hospital.
