Project
Working with the City of Erie, Gannon University is creating a program to support the Secure Smart City movement. Gannon’s new program recruits businesses and provides commercial space; creating a data center as a community asset; and educating a premier workforce in the field of Cybersecurity.
Gannon University engaged The Collaborative to assist in their vision; transforming an early 1970’s building into a cutting edge cybersecurity and Information + Computer Technology space. The 6-story building includes cyber labs; a hacking lab; a defense lab, where students can learn to defend against hackers; secure data center; and lease-able commercial spaces.
