Project

Following a successful Master Plan and levy campaign, Rossford Exempted Village School District tasked The Collaborative’s team with renovating and expanding the existing Junior High / High School facilities located in downtown Rossford.

Originally constructed in 1922, the renovation design upgraded the 52,000sf historic portion of the building, including the auditorium, and transformed it into a STEAM wing that consolidated all science, performing arts, fine arts and life skills learning environments into one destination. The remaining 92,750sf of the existing facility was demolished to make way for new construction.

The generous, 130,000sf addition houses 40 new classrooms across various Academic wings, which allows the separation of younger and older students into their corresponding technology-rich environments. A new gymnasium, weight room, locker rooms, cafeteria and other support spaces were also incorporated into the addition, along with the integration of the Central Office functions and Board Room originally housed across the street.
