Project
Lawrence Technological University (LTU) has the potential to become a vast campus offering a range of academic courses connected through pedestrian pathways and green space. The LTU Campus Master Plan is a bold vision for the future that has the potential to attract new students, as well as improve the campus experience for existing students, faculty and staff. These improvements can be accomplished through the guiding principles set out by LTU’s leadership team:
- Campus Experience : Decisions made lead to positive experiences for all who come to campus (i.e. safety, ease of use, engagement, visual appeal)
- Connectivity : Decisions made promote connections: between students and academics; students to other students and faculty; LTU faculty and staff to each other; everyone to external sources (business, community, etc)
- Student Centeredness : Decisions made benefit students at the forefront
The process included identifying drivers; collecting and analyzing data; gathering stakeholder input; creating and prioritizing options; and evaluating the realities of acquisition and economic constraints.
This Plan was formulated to be reasonable and able to change quickly to meet current needs. It serves as a guide to blend LTU’s short term accomplishments with potential future developments, while continuing to maintain their guiding principles.
