Project

This vision aims to grow enrollment from 20 to 200 graduates annually over the next decade, elevating the skilled trades to the same level of investment and prestige as traditional professions. The plan calls for top-tier programs, recruitment of exceptional faculty, and purpose-built facilities that create vibrant, community-centered environments that replicate the appeal of a residential college experience while highlighting the unique strengths and opportunities of an integrated trade campus.

Organized around “the ridge” to maximize natural views, the campus clusters interior program spaces to encourage collaboration with shared courtyards that foster community life. Boardwalks, nature trails, and pedestrian pathways connect the buildings, integrating the campus seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The master plan prioritizes flexibility, utilizing existing infrastructure where possible, planning for shared parking, and phasing construction to balance immediate needs with long-term growth—positioning the Institute to lead in redefining trade education through an immersive, inspiring environment where craft and community thrive.
