Project
As a part of Bond Support and successful bond passage, The Collaborative worked with the Construction Manager and District to prioritize needs to the district, participate on community sessions as well as contribute to visualization graphics and informational graphics for support of the bond.
Hastings Area School System, Barry and Calhoun Counties, Michigan, worked to complete the following for Series 1 of their bond program, completed during the Summer 2024 Break:
- Remodeling and equipping and re-equipping and furnishing and refurnishing school buildings; including new lockers, toilet rooms at the elementary schools and new roofs.
- Acquiring, installing, equipping and re-equipping school buildings for instructional technology.
- Developing, improving and equipping playgrounds and sites.
Series 2 was completed during the 2025 Summer Break:
- Renovating Locker Rooms and Toilet Rooms at the High School.
- Renovating Public Commons Spaces at the High School
- Window Replacements at the High School, Middle School and some of the Elementary Schools
Series 3 is to include and is to be completed over the Summer Break of 2026:
- Renovations to the existing Kitchen and Cafeteria
- Renovations to the existing media commons spaces
- Renovations to the toilet rooms at the middle school
