Project
The Collaborative was selected to develop a comprehensive renovation study, detailed program, and schematic level design services for the forthcoming renovation of two residential towers on North Campus.
The primary goal of the study is to address deferred maintenance, which includes replacing aged mechanical, electric, fire protection and plumbing systems. Additionally, the schematic design refreshes interior student common spaces across all floors. The planning team worked with the university to validate that the buildings can be taken offline for a full academic year for construction to take place while still accommodating enough student beds across campus. Finally, the study provides a recommended phasing timeline for construction.
