Located in the heart of Downtown Toledo, the new Glass City Center provides more than 100,000 SF of conference and pre-function space. Originally built in 1987, this addition and renovation is the result of various studies with multiple user groups. Key goals of the project include:

- New plazas and streetscape along Summit Street with lay-by lanes for hotels
- Support spaces including storage rooms, additional restrooms, service corridors, etc.
- Prefunction spaces
- A service area with loading dock, dumpster, etc.
- Relocation of the parking garage entry to Monroe Street
- Renovations of public areas
- Renovations to meeting spaces
- Renovations to Expo Halls
- Relocation of the security office
This project involves extensive cooperation and coordination between The Collaborative and the adjacent Hotel renovation design / construction team, as the two took place simultaneously.
