Project
Owens Community College teamed with The Collaborative to complete a Master Plan, Phase I Design and Construction Administration for the renovation of College Hall. The existing 136,157 SF building has evolved to its current design through a number of major additions and renovations.
Given its size, proximate location and offering of a variety of student services, College Hall has become the hub of the campus. As such, the first phase of the renovation focuses on combining a number of existing student activity centered needs, such as advising, financial aid and student employment, into a one-stop-shop. It also introduces a new student lounge and study spaces to activate the main entrance of the building and better utilize the existing outdoor courtyard.
The Collaborative is also assisting the College in developing a master plan to outline construction of the building for the next six years.
