Adena Hall Fitness Center Expansion

This shared OSU Newark and Central Ohio Technical College project renovated 9,400sf of vacated maintenance operations space into an expanded fitness and strength area. The project upgraded interior finishes in the lobby and south corridor, installed an emergency generator, upgraded the fire alarm system, and updated the north and south entries into the building along with site improvements at those entries.

Adena Hall also houses the gym, weight room and locker rooms. As the number of on-campus residential units grows, so does the demand for a more robust on-campus health and wellness amenities. New facilities include cardio area, free weight area, multi-purpose room, locker rooms and offices.

The project includes renovating an additional 5,400sf of public space.
