Brandon Andrzejczak, AIA
Architect / Principal

Brandon started his post-graduate career in Chicago working on high-end residential architecture. Through this experience he learned the importance of a client-first practice coupled with award winning design.

Returning to his hometown and joining The Collaborative in 2011, Brandon brought with him this passion for all phases of design, detailing and construction. Centered primarily within the education market, Brandon focuses on achieving each client’s unique vision while maintaining strict budget and schedule constraints.

Throughout his career Brandon has been a part of The Collaborative’s design and technical leadership Knowledge Groups and is currently focused on strategic planning for the firm’s next phase.

Outside of architecture, Brandon’s life centers around his girls; wife, Elizabeth and daughters, Sloan and Finley.

He holds a Master of Architecture with Distinction from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University.

Matthew Clarkson, AIA
Architect / Principal

Matt joined The Collaborative in 2004, after earning a Master in Architecture from Clemson University. Since then, he has elevated design in countless ways on a range of private and public projects. Matt believes each unique design solution is a product of collaboration grounded in the core values of the client.

While Matt guides projects through material and technology experimentation, his passion for the craft of construction through rigorous detailing remains evident. His ability to drive innovative thinking while delivering a client’s vision radiates through his work and has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects, at the state and regional level, as well as by his peers. As such, Matt has recently been entrusted to the position of Director of Design at The Collaborative.

Despite his professional success, Matt’s pride in life is his family. When he isn’t sketching or refining a design, you can find him immersed in Jameson, Aubrey and Reese’s activities with his wife Melissa by his side.

In addition to his Masters degree, Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from Bowling Green State University.
