The Collaborative:
Not just a name, but a promise.
Mitch Acock, AIA
Architect / Principal
Mitch Acock draws on more than 30 years of architecture, design and leadership experience to shape every project. His portfolio spans a wide range of academic, civic and corporate environments, each approached with a balance of creativity, practicality and purpose.
Mitch’s work is guided by a belief that great architecture is both contextual and enduring. Known for his ability to lead large, complex teams through challenging design and construction processes, he combines fiscal and functional awareness with a refined design sensibility. His early experience working directly with builders informs a deep understanding of constructability and collaboration.
Dedicated to service and mentorship, Mitch has served on the Board of Trustees for the Columbus College of Art & Design and on the campaign committee for The Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture, where he also taught as an adjunct professor. A former Infantry Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, Mitch infuses his architectural practice with discipline, focus and integrity.
