Project
William Vaughan Company (WVC) is a full-service accounting firm with over 100 employees in Northwest Ohio. They have a reputation for being one of the top accounting firms to work for and are constantly looking for ways to retain and recruit best talent. With that in mind, the WVC leadership team engaged with The Collaborative to improve their corporate headquarters by investing in their existing facilities.
The original buildings, constructed in the early 1980’s, were separate and in dire need of reinvention. Our design team joined the two buildings by creating a central entrance to pull the public zones into the core of the new connector. A transparent bridge was added displaying the William Vaughan brand; allowing plenty of natural daylight into the space. Additional interior renovations included: new kitchen and common areas, the “library” for corporate happy hours and hosting clients, large multi-use spaces, smaller conference rooms, and overall material finish upgrades.
To round out the renovation, our landscape architecture team created new outdoor common spaces, as well as overall site improvements for visitors and employee alike.
