Campus Master Plan & Space Utilization Assessment

The Baldwin Wallace University 2024 Campus Master Plan, developed by The Collaborative, is a forward-looking guide for campus growth and enhancement shaped by campus-wide input and BW’s strategic goals. This plan provides a strategic framework for facility development, from visionary projects like the Knowlton Center to targeted, cost-effective improvements in campus aesthetics and circulation.

Centered on six key themes—advancing student achievement, investing in performing arts, enhancing student health and wellness, enriching community and student experience, elevating athletics and recreation, and strengthening campus identity—the plan aligns campus development with BW’s institutional priorities for the coming decade.

Driven by principles that support the university’s strategic plan and prioritize outdoor social spaces, the initiatives within the Master Plan aim to optimize space and resources. Through the expansion of collaborative learning environments, facility updates, and the transformation of underutilized areas, Baldwin Wallace University is dedicated to fostering student success and creating an engaging, vibrant campus community.
